What is NEMT?
Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) is a service that allows patients without access to transportation to reach their healthcare appointments.
Who can use NEMT?
Anyone who needs transportation to and/or from any medical appointments can use an NEMT service. Our services are not limited to persons with disabilities.
Does insurance cover NEMT?
We do not work through insurance companies directly, but we do provide an invoice that can be sent to your insurance to request reimbursement for transportation to medically necessary appointments. NEMT coverage varies between insurance provider and policy, so reach out to your insurance company to confirm whether they will be able to provide reimbursement.
How far in advance should I book my ride?
We prefer that you book your transportation at least 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, but same day rides are offered subject to availability.
